【 CONCEPT & OVERVIEW 】

Brought to life by Da Fei Studio, this magnificent 1:35 scale wildlife collection—titled "Asian Megafauna" (Asian Meatballs)—captures five of the most celebrated large mammal species of South and Southeast Asia, representing the pinnacle of the Indomalayan Realm's pachyderms and mega-ungulates:

1. Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus): The largest living land mammal in Asia and a Class-I protected species in China. Native to Yunnan (China), India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia.

2. Indian Rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis): Also known as the Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros, it is the largest single-horned rhino species in the world. Historically ranging across Southern China, it is now strictly conserved in India and Nepal.

3. Gaur (Bos gaurus): Also known as the Indian Bison or "White Stockings," it is one of the largest wild bovids alive today. A Class-I protected species in China found in Yunnan, as well as India, Nepal, and Southeast Asia.

4. Wild Water Buffalo (Bubalus arnee): The wild ancestor of all domestic water buffaloes, this rare and massive wetland bovid inhabits the marshes and river basins of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Thailand.

5. Malayan Tapir (Tapirus indicus): The largest living tapir species and a national treasure of Malaysia, uniquely recognized by its striking black-and-white coat, inhabiting dense rainforests of the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Southern Thailand.

Meticulously sculpted with accurate anatomical proportions and textured leather/skin details, this series showcases the massive, powerful silhouettes of Asia's signature megafauna—perfect as individual collection pieces or combined into a grand tropical ecosystem diorama.
